After being started Seventeen years ago, we have achieved a remarkable success, step by step. We think our main features which attract people to us are:
- The board is governed by some working painters and creative personalities.
- This board deals only with painting and crafts unlike other boards working in this field. Whereas other boards deals also with music, dances, recitation etc.
So we can say that we are dealing those subjects only, which we can go through very well. Hence, we can say again that we are not interested to be the jack of all trades but master of none.
People, who are working in this field of art-education are loving our this attitude of having a low-profile status.
We have no full page advertisements in newspapers ; we have no loud campaigning on behalf of us regularly. But still people come to us regularly to affiliate their schools with us that proves the success of our journey, one and a half decade long.
The other features which support us on our long way are:
- We organize exhibitions regularly with selected paintings of our candidates in one of the prominent and big galleries in our City of Joy-Kolkata which earns high appreciation from people who come to view those shows from all over India and it encourages us to move ahead.
- The curriculum and system of our theory education and exam is very interesting, mostly in objective style which starts from 2nd year classes.
- From 5th to 8th year’s Annual Examination, there are two papers in Practical Part, 1st Paper is to be made with water colour composition, in case of 2nd Paper oil painting is not compulsory ; students can appear with an optional medium, stated by board.
Beyond these, many more features have made our curriculum very attractive.
